Tulsa County Chair

My fellow Republicans,

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of purpose that I step into the role of your new chairperson. Today, we stand at a pivotal moment—a time to unite, to rise, and to reclaim the heart of what makes our party, and our nation, extraordinary. I am honored to lead the charge in championing our shared conservative values: liberty, opportunity, and the unwavering belief that every American deserves a chance to thrive. Together, we will build a future rooted in strength, faith, and the principles that have always guided us—because this party is not just a voice, it’s a movement of the people, for the people. Let us march forward with courage and conviction, igniting hope in every corner of this great land. The work begins now, and I am ready to stand shoulder to shoulder with each of you as we shape a bolder, brighter tomorrow. Welcome to this journey—together, we will win, and together, we will soar.

With gratitude and resolve,

Melissa Myers

Chairperson, Tulsa County GOP

Amy Marsh

Tulsa County Vice Chair

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as Vice Chair of the Tulsa County GOP.

With an extensive background in education and leadership, I taught K-12 students for over ten years and earned a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I am a lifelong learner who, several years ago, began a deep study of American history and our founding principles. This journey strengthened my conviction that we must educate ourselves and actively engage in civic life to preserve our freedoms and pass on a strong legacy to the next generation.

As a woman of faith, devoted wife, and mother, I could no longer remain on the sidelines while our nation and local community drifted away from the ideals of liberty and a true constitutional republic. I am deeply passionate about our country and believe it is worthy of our time, focus, and talents.

Over the past 15+ years, I have served in numerous leadership roles, including being elected President of a statewide education association with more than 1,000 members. During my tenure, I significantly increased membership and secured a strong financial foundation for the organization. I am committed to leading, serving, inspiring, and motivating others so that together we can achieve far more than we ever could alone.

In my role as Vice Chair, my priorities include:

  • Educating, training, and equipping our precinct volunteers

  • Creating an environment where elected officials raise the standard, remain accountable to the people they represent, and faithfully uphold the OKGOP Party Platform

  • Supporting and helping truly conservative candidates win their races

The future is bright for Tulsa County conservatives. The more we work together, the more we will accomplish!

Meet the Team

My name is Angela Strohm and I am your new Tulsa County State Committeewoman.

I have a degree in education and spent over ten years teaching in both public and private schools. I’m an active member of City Elders, former Chaplain of the Women's Republican Club of Tulsa County, I’ve been active and engaged in politics for many years and have worked on several campaigns. Most importantly I’m a mom of 4, a grandmother (finally!) and I love Jesus.

When I considered running for this role, I spent time learning what I would be responsible for, and what I would like to achieve. With these ideas in mind, as your State Committeewoman, my goal is to:
  * Work with groups across our area to help identify the best Conservative Republican candidates.
  * Work with our party and various groups to get Conservative Republican candidates elected.
  * Help prepare candidates for the battle they will walk into when elected.
  * Seek to lead in a manner that inspires others to accomplish more together than they would have alone.
Finally, I believe that it’s crucial that we hold our elected Republican officials accountable for our Oklahoma GOP Platform. Our platform represents decades of work to define what we believe. As scripture says, ‘write the vision and make it plain’ and that’s what our platform does!
