It's Time to Wake Up and Show Up, Tulsa County Republicans!

Folks, the starting gun has fired on one of the most critical stretches of our political calendar — and we cannot afford to hit the snooze button.
This past Tuesday, April 7, we saw yet another disappointing turnout across Tulsa County in local elections. Too many decisions were made by a handful of dedicated voters while thousands of us stayed home. That's not just disappointing—it's dangerous for our conservative values and the future of our community. If we keep treating elections like they're optional, we shouldn't be surprised when decisions get made without us.
Here is the good news: we have a clear path forward, and it's accelerating fast. The 2026 Republican Primary is set for Tuesday, June 16, 2026, and the Tulsa County GOP is making it easier than ever to get informed and get involved. Tulsa County 2026 Primaries
Introducing the New Tulsa County GOP Candidates Section!
We're thrilled to announce a brand-new section on the official Tulsa County GOP website: a dedicated hub listing all Republican candidates running in Tulsa County races.
Even though we're still fine-tuning the pages, they're already live with helpful links to information about each candidate. Every candidate now has their own individual page—complete with details on their background, priorities, and vision for our county and state.
If you're a voter: This is your one-stop resource. No more hunting around scattered websites or social media. Visit tulsacountygop.org, head to the 2026 Election section, and get the straight facts on who's running for offices like County Commissioner, District Attorney, Senate/House seats, and more.
Knowledge is power—use it!
If you're a candidate: Check your information today. Make sure everything is accurate and reflects your campaign the way you want it seen. If you need to update or add details, reach out to our team at media@tulsacountygop.org for instructions on how to get your page polished and ready.
This new feature is all about transparency, accessibility, and empowering our Republican voters to make informed choices. We're building the tools you need to engage fully in the process.
Let's Turn Low Turnout into High Energy
Look, we can celebrate the strong conservative leadership stepping up in races like the contested District Attorney primary between incumbent Steve Kunzweiler and challenger Colleen McCarty, or the dozen US House District 1 candidates. But contests like these-and the many other critical local offices-only matter if you show up to vote.
Low turnout hands the microphone to a small group while silencing the broader voice of Tulsa County Republicans. We've got too much at stake: strong law enforcement, fiscal responsibility, quality education, and policies that put families and freedom first.
So consider this your friendly-but-firm wake-up call: No more sitting on the sidelines.
Mark your calendars now:
