Darrell Weaver
Oklahoma Lt Governor
Darrell Weaver believes that faith, family, and service to the state of Oklahoma form the cornerstones of his life. After months of serious consideration and prayer, he has concluded that now is the right time to run for Lieutenant Governor.
A proven conservative Republican leader, Darrell is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Oklahomans. By combining his extensive law enforcement and legislative experience with his business background, he is well-positioned to provide effective leadership in addressing the state's most pressing challenges.
Darrell was honored to serve the state of Oklahoma for over 28 years in state law enforcement, culminating in his role as Director of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics for the last nine years of that tenure. During his leadership at the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN), the agency achieved significant successes, most notably securing legislative authority to combat human trafficking and confronting Mexican drug cartels responsible for trafficking deadly illegal drugs like methamphetamine into Oklahoma.
For the past seven years, Darrell has had the privilege of serving in the Oklahoma State Senate. With his common-sense, conservative approach to governing, he has authored legislation benefiting Oklahomans from all walks of life. He has championed support for first responders, public safety, victims’ rights, small businesses, and Second Amendment rights, while also advocating for the state's growing aerospace industry to enhance economic development and workforce opportunities.
Darrell and his wife, Kim—a physician—understand the joys and challenges of operating a small business. Through hard work and determination, they have expanded Weaver Clinics to five communities across Oklahoma.
Darrell is committed to campaigning in all 77 counties. He will listen to residents' ideas and concerns while sharing his vision and passion, so that together they can work to build a brighter future for the state.
With his family by his side, Darrell would be honored to have Oklahomans join TEAM WEAVER with their support and vote in the Republican primary on June 16, 2026.
