Gary Ty England is a lifetime Oklahoman and 2026 candidate for the United States Senate. With family roots stretching from Duncan to Henryetta, he was raised between Oklahoma City and a small family farm in Prague, where hard work, faith, and family values were a daily way of life rather than slogans.

A proud Ronald Reagan conservative and self-described “Limbaugh baby,” England is widely known in country music as the original Garth Brooks “Side Kick” and band member—and his college roommate at Oklahoma State University. He later built a successful solo career the old-fashioned way, touring the nation and the world with his velvet voice and heartfelt Oklahoma-inspired songs. In addition to his music success, he has served as national spokesperson for the FFA Alumni, an Oklahoma Goodwill Ambassador, and a USO entertainer who performed for American troops in South Korea and at bases across the United States.

A devoted husband, father of four, and grandfather of eight, England has never been a Washington insider. Instead, he has spent decades on stage, in the studio, and on the road with the very Oklahoma families he now seeks to serve in the Senate. He is running in 2026 because he believes the next generation deserves a fighter grounded in constitutional principles, fiscal responsibility, secure borders, school choice, protection of the unborn, strong support for veterans, free-market health care, and limited government that puts power back in the hands of citizens, farmers, ranchers, teachers, and small-business owners.
