Mike Lay

State Representative District 68

Years as a registered Republican:

54

I am a lifelong Tulsan, businessman, and public servant proudly serving Oklahoma House District 68.

I founded Layco Electric Innovations, LLC, building the company from three employees into a successful operation employing more than 150 people. Withmore than 45 years of industry experience, I have built my career around hardwork, innovation, leadership, and creating opportunities for Oklahoma workers and families.

Faith and service have always been central to my life. I am a founding member of Victory Church and an ordained minister. My commitment to serving others has shaped both my professional career and my work in the Legislature.

At the Capitol, I focus on workforce development, public safety, education, economic growth, infrastructure, and responsible government. I believe Oklahoma grows stronger when government supports job creation, protects taxpayers, and invests in practical solutions that improve everyday life for families and communities.

My wife, Debby, and I have been married for almost 50 years. Together we have three children—a teacher, a fire fighter, and a business owner—and seven grandchildren. We are also founders of a family foundation supporting causes important to our family and community.

Outside of public service, I enjoy fishing, spending time outdoors, and making memories with my children and grandchildren.
